## Data files

- **State file**: $299 per state. Every provider-plan listing we hold for one state.
- **National file**: $1,499. Every state in one delivery.
- **Refresh**: $199 /mo. A new copy of your files each time we refresh the data. Billed monthly.

## Billing questions

### What counts as a call?

Each request to a lookup endpoint is one call. Each provider-plan pair in a batch is one call, so a batch of 100 pairs uses 100 calls. The status endpoint needs no key and does not count.

### What happens when I reach my quota?

Further calls return a 429 response with the type quota_exceeded until your quota resets on the 1st of the month, UTC. We never charge for calls over your quota. To keep going, move to a larger plan.

### How do I know how many calls I have left?

Every response carries X-Quota-Limit, X-Quota-Remaining and X-Quota-Reset headers. The dashboard shows the same numbers by day and by endpoint.

### How does yearly billing work?

Pay for 10 months and get 12. Builder is $1,990 a year and Growth is $5,990 a year. The calls quota stays monthly.

### How are we billed?

Builder and Growth bill in US dollars, monthly or yearly. Scale and data files are invoiced on the terms we agree with you.

### Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. Change plans or cancel from the dashboard at any time. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give partial refunds.

### Do we need a paid plan to try the API?

No. The Free plan gives you 500 calls a month on every lookup endpoint, with no credit card. The Playground also runs on a demo key with sample providers.
