Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-30IN PLAIN WORDS
- Use the API in your own products. Do not resell it or republish its answers as your own data product.
- Keep your keys secret. You are responsible for the calls made with them.
- Answers carry a date and are provided "as is". They are not medical advice.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, with no partial refunds.
01About these terms
These terms apply when you use the InPlan website, dashboard, API and data files (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using an API key, you agree to them. If you use InPlan for a company, you agree for that company.
02Your account
Give us accurate details and keep them current. You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for every call made with your API keys. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using them.
03API keys and API use
Keep keys secret and on your servers. Do not put them in browser code or mobile apps. You may call the API from your own products and show the answers to your users.
When you show an answer, show its date too, so your users know how current it is.
04Acceptable use
You must not:
- resell the API, or republish its answers as a data product of your own;
- get around rate limits or quotas, for example by spreading calls over many accounts;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service, except as our responsible disclosure policy allows;
- send us information about patients;
- use the service to break the law or to harm others.
05Rate limits and quotas
Each plan has a monthly call quota, and each key has a rate limit. Every response carries headers that show your remaining limit. When you reach a limit, the API returns HTTP 429 and tells you when to retry.
We may change limits. We post changes in the changelog before they take effect.
06Data files licence
When your plan includes data files, you may use them inside your organisation and in your own products. A data-file refresh is a new copy of your files each time we refresh the data, billed monthly. You may not resell the files or publish them as a dataset. Keep the read-on dates with the data when you show it. The licence ends when your plan ends, unless your order says otherwise.
07Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices on our pricing page. Our payment provider processes payments. You can change or cancel your plan in the dashboard. Changes apply from your next billing date. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give partial refunds.
08Data accuracy
Answers reflect insurer network directories and provider registries as of the date shown on each answer. Directories change, and they can contain errors.
The service and the data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Confirm network status with the plan before a decision that depends on it.
09No medical advice
InPlan provides network data. It is not medical, legal or insurance advice. Nothing in the service tells anyone which care to get or which plan to buy.
10Availability
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise it will be free of interruptions. A Scale plan can include a separate service level agreement.
11Liability
As far as the law allows, InPlan is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms the service or other users, or does not pay. When an account closes, its API keys stop working.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Pune, Maharashtra, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
14Changes to these terms
We post changes on this page with a new date. We email workspace owners about important changes before they take effect.
