How to read a marketplace plan ID.
A marketplace plan ID has 14 characters, or 16 with the variant: 17414NC0010004-01. Provider directories list providers under the 14-character ID, so every variant of a plan shares one network.

How to read a Medicare Advantage plan ID.
A Medicare plan ID has three parts: H3404-003-001. You can leave out the segment; H3404-003 means segment 000.
